Ok, I was trying to install the film that came with the iClear and me being stupid set the ipod down on the counter with its silver side down. Make a long story short...I scratched the back up a bit, is there anything I can use to touch it up or not make it so noticeable? Any help would be great! Thanks.

I haven't really looked for any. But I did see that there's a bunch of people who've got the opposite extreme and did a brushed steel look on the back to hide scratches, etc. You can find out more in this forum post - http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=14723

If u just look at the back too hard, it will cause a scratch. Its that sensitive. LOL :D

Alright, but nothing to polish it up or anything?

honestly about the only thing i can think of to polish a surface which is that smooth and reflective is a jeweler's cloth with rouge (a super soft resin containing super fine diamond dust). anything else will likely cause more scratches, even the cleaning cloth it came with hahaha.
it's dissapointing how fast that pretty reflective surface gets damaged....the day i got my ipod, i went out and bought this hard plastic case for it to keep it from scratching...needless to say, it has some pretty nice scratches on it....and fynebawdee is very right about it being sensitive, i feel i caused most of the scratches with my mind only :( hahaha

yeah i had the case since day 2, and barely used it without it. I noticed the case did even put some scratches on it.W/e it wont stay perfect all the time.
Time to take off the panties, be a man and let your iPod get a few battle scars. It gives the iPod character-embrace it, don't avoid it. Heck, you'll get a new one in two years anyway.

hahaha yea i understand that, but then again i have just been put through some seriously high hoops trying to return my first AND second ipod touch...once two years drops by, i may just have to pick up something else....with a sexy touch screen of course.
Well... I don't actually practice what I preach. My touch is in an Agent 18 case. It's the first scratch that hurts the most. But after that, a well used but not abused iPod is a thing to behold

Maybe its just me but Im not really concerned about scratches on the back of my ipod touch. If its on the front and on the screen area then thats a different story.

I put my touch in a case the second I took it out of the package, and low and behold the back has three scratches that go all the way down the back, so the case didn't really do it's job. I would really prefer that the touch have the same style back as the iPhone.
