Wireless tandem

I have a 160Classic ... and have a headphone question.

When you buy a wireless headset ... are the transmitter and receiver already paired ... or is that done later?

What I want is one transmitter to plug into the ipod and have it picked up by two head/ear sets. That way, if I go walking or jogging with my wife (or someone else's :D ), we could both listen to the same tunes.

I've searched for discussion on this ... but haven't found any. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I know some cellphones can talk to multiple BT devices simultaneously while others can only talk to one BT device at a time. I forget what the feature is called.
