Podcasts on iPhone

Can someone explain the steps for downloading and transfering a podcast to my iPhone?

Go to the iTunes store, pick the podcast you want to listen to, click "subscribe". It will download the latest one and show the previous ones with a "get" next to it. If you want to listen to the older ones too, click on Get. When your iPhone is connected, click on the Podcasts tab, check sync all or click the ones you want to sync to the iPhone. I have mine set to sync all unplayed podcasts. Once I listen to them, they'll be removed. I delete them out of iTunes anyway. I highly recommend the ones by NPR and PRI.

Do you delete them right after a sync? I have found that if I listen to them on the phone they re-appear as new after the next sync.

No, after I listen to them, I go back to iTunes and delete them out of there. Then I sync my phone, and it takes them off the iPhone.

I am having problems getting podcasts with video to download to my iPhone.
Does anyone have a step by step explanation as to how this is done??

I subscribe to a video podcast called "Dog Blog TV". When my iPhone is connected, on the Podcast tab, I've got "all unplayed" to sync to my iPhone and there are some unplayed episodes of Dog Blog TV. They have sync'd down to my iPhone fine. On my iPhone, when I go into the iPod function, I click on Podcasts, and they are all listed there - the audio and video versions.
