Wow. I just got the iPhone for Christmas and LOVE IT! But, the txt tones do suck a little bit. How can I get some different ones? Can I make my own, do I have to buy them from apple? Does anyone know?

I created some ringtones, but I don't see a way to do text tones. When you choose a different sound for text messages, the self-created items don't come up.

Yeah, you haven't been able to add your own text tones since the beginning. Only with firmware update 1.1.2 have you even been able to even change the tone of the text message. I imagine this along with multimedia messaging will be added with a future firmware update.

they better get off their assss and do that then! there are so many people waiting for better enhanced firmware upgrades, they have only been wasting their time trying to stop 3rd party programs from being used...shows their priorities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if u really want texttones that bad just jailbreak ur phone i did and u can literaly do everything
