web pages refreshing when switching windows

Sometimes when I have searched for something using the Google mobile interface, go to a link which opens a new window, then try to go back to the search page, the Google page refreshes back to the default google search page. As I switch windows, the google page is completely blank. What can I do to prevent this from happening? It also happens sometimes with other pages but it's most apparent and annoying with google (I lose my search).

I have the same problem when a link opens a new page. It annoys the hell out of me

its not just google pages, its any webpages. I hope this gets resolved soon. This is especially anoying if you are using edge.

Seems to be dependent on a certain amount of cache being used up on whether or not previous pages have to reload or not. Hopefully they will allow this to be a setting we can choose in a future update.
