Updated, and...

Hey all.

So I've had my iPod Touch since late November, and up until yesterday, I held off in updating it to 1.1.2 because I thought I might jailbreak it. I decided not to and just went on to update it.

But now I'm having these issues: The iPod Touch will sometimes "skip" intermittently. Some songs will get skippy while being played and won't play well. It's not a consistent issue, but I can see it becoming a problem. Fortunately, I have a warranty, so if the problem persists and becomes highly irritating, I can go to Apple and have them fix/replace it for me.

But I was curious if anyone else has had this problem? How they got it? Handled it?

would you describe it as static during a song? alot of people have had the same problem...search and see how they resolved it
(i'm not sure if they have to send it in or it was a fixable issue)

Hmmm....No, it's not static. The music just skips or pauses itself, making me have to press play to get it going again.

this is funny, because there was a problem like that before but 1.1.2 should actually have FIXED that, not caused it.

is it always the same songs at the same spot in the song which are skipping, or is it random?
if it's always the same spot there maybe something wrong with your music (since this has not happened before this is unlikely).
otherwise ... well, try restoring. if it still happens I'd guess you can do nothing more than either send it back or go to an apple store and make an appointment with the genius there.
