new to ipod touch and need help, please help!

i just brought a ipod touch, the black cover was full of scratch. If there any way to buy the cover and change it, if there is, where is it ? i am from singapore anyway.

I don't really know what cover you're talking about? Do you mean the box it came in? if so: is this really that important?

If the iPod is scratched and it was brand new, you are well within your rights to take it back to the store and ask for an exchange. At least, I'm sure you are, but I don't know about Singapore's retail laws specifically.

If it was bought from somewhere else, or second-hand, I don't think there's much you're going to be able to do about it.

sry about the spelling mistake, it shl be back not black. anyway, mine is given for free by singnet when signing up for their plan.

so you mean the shiny back? that's bad. it should have come with a protection over it.
if you can't return it: there are some pastes made especially for iPod backs where you can remove scratches. I never tried something like it and don't know if this actually works.
But if you can't return your iPod and this anti-scratch-sets are not working I guess you just have to live with it. In the end it's a free ipod, isn't it? :D
