itouch Streaming video please respond

so my 8GB ipod (which i plan to upgrade this weekend) is sitting on my table unopened. Before I start to have fun with my new toy, I wanted to know a few things about the products capabilities. First off, I love the internet, and I love watching TV shows streaming online. My favorite part of this is when it's free and in High quality. Sites such as Stage6 and Megavideo...do they work on the itouch? Will I be able to go onto these sites and watch any show I want from my itouch?

Any sites that use flash to show video won't work I'm afraid. Dailymotion works though, and there is a YouTube application to search for YouTube videos. Youtube doesn't work in the browser, but the app works great.

iPod Touch can stream certain video and audio formats like MP3, MP4 and MOV, in the browser on websites. Any flash-related video players don't work.

That's dissapointing to hear. I was looking at the Archos 605, and that gives me the ability to watch the kind of videos i want...but it's not quiet an ipod. Stage6 doesn't run on flash, it's a DivX file (.AVI), is there a way of downloading DivX and then going on stage6? Or is that too out of the question.

Unfortunately, that's out of the question - you'd have to download the videos and then convert to .MP4 and play on your iPod Touch... No streaming divx at this time though...
