How much music?

Question: How much music do you have?

If your number falls somewhere in between, round to wherever feels appropriate, or where you will be in a week (e.g. 1.3 days for me would round to one)

I'm measuring in Days, because first of all, lengths of songs vary greatly. Second, i'm not measuring in size, because all of us mac people now deal with mp3 and AAC. I converted to AAC and saved a few hundred MB of space. For you people who fill up a 30 GB iPod, woah. I was amazed to get 1 day of music, and for those who fill up yours with weeks of music, woah.

I've just looked at iTunes and it says that I've got 6.7 days worth of music. Now I'm looking at my CD stacks and I'm a little over half done. I've just been dumping it all into my pod. I didn't realize I had that much stuff. I've also got a couple audio books from Audible on the little beastie too.

I have roughly 5.3 days. Greater than 2 weeks is quite an achievement I think.

I have a mere 12.2 days; sadly, much of my collection perished in the Great MP3 Fire of '02, but there is life springing from the ashes. :-)

i have about 5 days worth, but to be frank i don't really like to listen to specific songs depending on my mood so it's more like 5 different mood days worth of music, i.e.

1) Happy Day
2) Tired Day
3) Sad Day
4) Energetic Day
5) Monday (i.e. Sad day squared)

I lost about 12 hours of music when I last crashed the HD on my iBook (for the secnond time!), so I'm still recoverint the ones that I like. Fortunately, it was just the crappy music that I lost.

My Library has 23 days, 21 Hours, 31 Min, 01 Sec

My iPod has 5 Days, 10 Hours, 01 Min, 17 Sec

Hmmm... I think people already know this, but for those that dont, just click on the time at the bottom of iTunes, and it converts it into days (weeks, months- and probly years). . . :)

5,381 songs. 15 days, 20 hours, 43 minutes, and 17 seconds. 24.12 GB. All on my new 30GB iPod as well. Sweet.:cool:

I have about 17 days on my iPod (estimating from other song counts posted because I don't have iTunes). This is with about half of my music at 160VBR and the rest at 128. I have another 10 GB or so that won't even fit onto my iPod so that would be another 9 days or so. How are people fitting more than 3 weeks onto their iPods? Are you ripping at 128VBR?

I only have about 5000 songs on my iPod. However, as I have roughly 1800 CDs and now nearly 3000 LPs in my collection, I suspect that were I to begin listening to every song on every disc....I might finish sometime around Bastille Day if I am lucky.
