my iTouch videos are messed up! HELP!

i just got a iPod touch for Christmas and a few minutes ago, i tried to watch a video and it was all colorfulish! sorry, thats not a word but the video was messed up and i dont know what to do! anybody know how to fix it? (or do i have to take it back and get a new one?)

GAH! NOW THEY'RE ALL MESSED UP! EVEN YOUTUBE VIDEOS!!! GGRR!! IM READY TO THROW IT AT THE WALL! (but i wont cuz that wouldnt end well...)

Ok, first of all.......calm down. Nothing is wrong with your iPod. It's just a glitch that occurs sometimes (It's happened to me before). Simply just hold down the sleep button until the slide to power off screen comes up. Turn your ipod off, turn it back on. It will load for a little bit with the apple logo there. Now, check your videos and it's gone!
