One speaker a lot louder than the other one!!!

Exactly as the title says, no matter which headphones i use or which aong i listen to, one side is alot quieter than the other one. I have a jailbroken 1.1.1 and i have lots of 3rd pArty apps as well. Would a restart help? How to restart without losing music?

Sounds like a mechanical problem to me.
Try restoring your iPod (this is not possible without losing all data on your iPod. sorry, there's no way around this.). if it doesn't help send it back and get a new one. sorry ;-)

Yup - definitely sounds like a mechanical problem..

Just to clarify - a restart is different from a restore. A restart is just holding the top sleep/wake button until the red slider comes up and then you turn off your iPod Touch. Then turn it back on. Restore is using iTunes to completely wipe your firmware and reinstall it...

thanks for the help guys. Im not sure WHAT worked but everythings ok now. I uninstalled the latest app and then restarted.
