My Top 25 most played wont sync.

Any help - I've edited the playlist and checked live updating etc...but it's never updated on my Ipod Touch - but my Itunes playlist is okay. Any advice?

Yup - I have a top 50 most played, just noticed that it doesn't work - it's 'random' zero play songs.

From what I can tell, and I don't have my iTunes PC handy - this is the same problem as with playlists based on most recently added - the songs are there, but the playlist brings different songs.

I can live with it because the songs are there if I 'need' them.

I worked around the most recently added problem by copying the most recent smart playlist to a 'Touch Recent' playlist. Not too much of a hassle - will have to do the same here till it gets worked out.

I think it's a known issue, I read this somewhere else.
Just make a playlist with your favorites? That what I do :)

I think this problem only occurs when you have the "maximum of xyz objects sorted by abc" thing checked. just uncheck this and then sort the playlist by playcount. this way it will be sorted by playcount on the iPod either. of course you won't have a "top 25" then, but the first 25 entries of the list are your top25, so I think this is the best solution until this annoying bug gets fixed.
btw: live updating works fine for me when I have the maximum objects thing unchecked.

Open up the smartplaylist in iTunes and tell us exactly what rules and things you have checked.
