Locating and Transfering Album Artwork

I am having problems manually transfering album artwork to my ipod touch via itunes. I have already used itunes to sync and get album artwork to ipod touch. My problem is that some album artwork was not transfered onto my ipod touch even though I have it on my computer. I know the process of manually transfering album artwork, but, I cant seem to find the actual album artwork files. I see the artwork on my album folders. Is there a place on the hard drive where the files would be stored? I used windows media player 10 and music match jukebox (now yahoo music jukebox ) to originally rip my cds to my hard drive. It seems I am only having problems with some album artwork from a bunch of cds I ripped.

most likely it's a problem with the tags on the MP3s I use MP3TAG http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

When you tag it, make sure it's not a "Read Only" file.
