I have a new ipod touch in my hand this second. I am not opening it yet until a few questions are answered.

If you jailbreak an ipod touch and need to restore it to facotry settings, is it a long process to do it? Also, if you jailbreak and ipod, will the new apps have icons on the main menu?
I greatly appreciate any answers

1. If you need to restore your iPod Touch, it should take maybe 10-15 minutes. It's not a horribly long process.

2. Yes, you'll get new icons for all your new programs - there are a few apps that are designed to run in the background without icons to launch, but those are few and far between...Here's a pic I found online, for example -
