I was in the Apple Store today, looking around with my parents because we were Christmas shopping. Low and behold, I left the store with an 8GB Touch. I had no intent of getting it, at all. I have a 4GB Nano, and I am happy with it, but my parents were willing to get me the touch, so I had to jump on the offer. My mom, who isn't electronic-suave, was amazed at the fact that I went on a website she visits all the time. I don't know much about it other than it's 8GB, and it can go on the internet.
I'm not getting it until Christmas morning, but I was wondering if there is anything I should be prepared for when getting everything started?
Thanks to anyone who has an input.

Well, what do you expect when you ask such an open-ended question? :D
If it was me, I'd spend some time reading through this forum to find out any issues, tips, tricks, etc. that other people have found. You can also go to the hacks forum and find plenty of information on jailbreaking your iPod Touch (e.g., adding applications).
There's also a busy community over at iPod Touch Fans - their boards regularly have a ton of people discussing the latest applications, etc. - http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/
