cracked screen so im screwed

So i was walking home from my gf's house and dropped my shiny new 16gb touch on the floor and the screen cracked. I sent it to apple and they didnt fix it. I opened it up today and removed all the broken glass, but i dont have a new screen to change it with. Anyone know where i can get a complete new screen? If i buy a seperate screen do you think it'll have problems due to it not coming from apple?

You can't buy a separate screen. Apple don't sell ipod or iphone parts. At all... Full stop. i had an issue with the battery, and they were being pains in the neck about it cos i opened the back...

thats why everyone says "when you buy an ipod buy a case at the same time... one that fully covers it and is thick, like leather, to protect the screen and back"

imma try ipodmods.com but i dont want to get a dfective screen with dead pixels or something so i was looking for more options

What did u tell them happened?
I was one of the many who accidentally broke my nano screen a few years back. But I told them I didnt know what happened it, sent it to them, and they sent me a brand new one. SweeT!
