SwitchEasy question(s)

I'm contemplating on buying either the black or white switcheasy plastic biscuit cases for my new black 3g nano.

My biggest concerns:

The black one:
a) From the photos I've seen it looks REALLY shiny. How easy it is to pick scratches and stuff ? (From my understanding a scratch on a shiny black case would be more visible than on white)
b) How "smoked" the screen is ? Does it really make a big difference on brightness etc?

The whine one:
a) My only concern here is putting a black ipod in it, I wonder how the white case + black clickwheel would look like. Would be awesome if someone had a photo of it :)

Somebody posted some pictures of their black switcheasy case in this forum, but I forgot exactly where. It looked really dusty compared to the white one, so it probably gets dirty faster.

The black player with the white case looks pretty tight. The black case sucks. The screen is darker, and it scratches pretty easily. I'm sending mine back for a white one to go with my red nano.

Don't bother with the black bisquit if you are into watching video. It will ruin that experience due to the smoke screen. We also find the bisquits scratch very easily with very little use. My wife bought the red bisquit, and she's not happy with it, especially not for the $25 price tag.

I see they finally took my advice and introduced a clear 'crystal' bisquit. First time I talked to them about it, and asked them why they had five colors and no 'clear', they acted like it was an idiotic request, or too difficult to implement.

Now I see they stopped shipping to Canada! Wow.

I've just ordered myself a clear SwitchEasy, after months of hunting for a decent hard clear case. It looks very decent and I like the fact that it has a universal dock adaptor. :)

Hey yhall so Harby my recommendation is go with Clear case or White Ivory to compliment your Pod. I was originally going for the black case but with so much rebuttals from people on this forum I chose instead to go for the latter. I got the white/Ivory biscuit protects the ipod nano like a kangaroo protects a Joey in it's powch.


Spatzi I would like to correct you there for a sec your last statement is inacccurate. I'm from Canada and I can tell you that Switcheasy does ship to Canada. Though the website does indicate in big banner that it doesn't ship to Canada, I was able to purchase my biscuit and it came within a two week time span. I think Switcheasy needs to make that correction.

The clear case was in the works from the very beginning however from what I have been told, they chose not to put it in it's line for the intro because there wasn't enough interest to warrant sales. Infact they is a Grey Colour scheme called Arctic Snow to compliment the Silver Grey Ipod Nano. Marketing does not sell it for some bizzare reason for distribution as of yet.

I would agree with this, Qwester. I got the crystal SwitchEasy and it's really nice. :)
