iphone case (marware sport grip) or not

i just bought my iphone and i want it to remain scratchless :) i left the iphone with the plastic that comes on the screen and i was thinking in buying a case. the case that looked good was the sport grip http://www.marware.com/PRODUCTS/iPhone-Products/Sport-Grip-for-iPhone. i was thinking of a leather case but dont know which would also protect my screen. i was also considering that a case wasnt necessary and maybe someone could advice me or recommend me about this situation :confused:
