Based on the recommendations (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=132617) I found on the forums here last year for Core Cases I got one for my 2G nano. I liked it so much I wanted one of their 3G cases as soon as they were released.

I am very happy with this version too.
The aluminium casing and screen protection are top notch without changing the design and aesthetics of the Nano. I always liked it was padded inside the case so it would absorb the shock of a fall. The only drawback right now is that they have 4 colors to choose from, whereas before they had more choices. But the people there assured me there will be more colors coming. In fact they are open to suggestions so email their CS is you have any. The company just released the 3G cases so they are working to expand the line later.

I liked it far more than the Switcheasy biscuits after I looked at them. Plasitc cases for the Nano never seemed to do it justice to me.

I will post pics later this week when I get a chance because the ones of the site aren't very good.

hi there, is it possible to put a nano with an invisibleshield into the corecase or will it be too tight....the invisibleshield has a very tacky surface so if the corecase already is tight fit, it prbably won't work...just curious b/c i want to cover the click wheel with something as well.

There is no need for an invisbleshield anywhere on the Nano other than the wheel if you want that protected.

Every part of the Nano that touches the case is in contact with the shock absorbing material.
It will not scratch the Nano. You could put the wheel protector on if it is adhesive and paper thin just like you could in the other versions of the case for the old Nanos.

Hi

I have a few questions concerning the Nano 3G Core Case:

1. Icebook, could you post some more pictures of the nano in the case please :-) And the lanyard and any other stuff that comes with the case (by the way, is the lanyard good?)

2. Is the protector for the dock connector any good? Does it stay in place?

3. Is it possible to use a sports armband with this case, ie. will the Core Case fit in, say, the Nike Sports Armband (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ipod/review/nike-sport-armband-for-ipod-nano-video/) or the Tune Belt Armband (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ipod/review/tune-belt-open-view-armband-for-3g-ipod-nano-nike-ipod-sport-kit-receiver/)? Or is it too fat?

4. In case the answer to 3 is negative: What options have I got if I want a case AND an armband (with room and protection for Nike+ receiver) and I don't want to take the nano out of one to put it in the other? I am aware of the Malware Sportsuit Convertible/Relay but I have a bad feeling about those.

5. Will the nano in a Core Case fit in a dock on, say, a clack radio? Does the Core Case come with one those dock adapters?

1. When I have time I will

2. It stays in place but it isn't attached to the case so if you don't press it in all the way it could be lost sort of easily.

3. It should, I don't own one of those but the Corecase isnt that much thicker. A few mm bigger all around.

4. n/a

5. I have an iHome and it fits in fine with the CC on the Nano.

mdl, yes there is. There is a screen protector built in to the case.
