Hey all, just wondering what you think is the best belt clip / holster. After reading about it's durability, I don't want a full case for my iPhone, but I do need a belt clip. I was thinking about the Griffin Elan Snap in, but I wanted to hear any other opinions out there before I go with it.

I think the Contour Showcase is the best holster device. Good protection and you simply pull the iPhone from the holster. I always have a problem trying to pull a clip from my belt (always seems to grab or stick to the belt.

thanks for the recommendation.. ive heard of durability issues on the belt clip for most, if not all of the belt clips by major manufacturers.. any comment on that aspect?

A few people (including me) have had some issues with the clip on the Contour Showcase. It swivels so you can have the iPhone vertical, horizontal (my choice), or in a variety of positions in-between. When you pull the iPhone from the holster (it is pretty snug), it stresses the interface between the clip and the holster. After two weeks, the holster would not stay in one position and would easily spin (not a good thing). Called Contour, explained the problem. They acknowledged the problem as an early design flaw (since fixed) and sent me a new holster. The new design is much beefier and only allows for vertical or horizontal. Since I prefer to carry the iPhone in a horizontal position on my belt, I glued the clip in place on the old holster. That baby is now rock solid!
If you get the Contour, make sure it only has four positions when you rotate the holster (check it before you buy it or just outside the Apple Store).
