that covers the entire front and one piece that covers the entire back? i saw that bestskinsever.com has one that is actually in 3 pieces for the quick wheel and center button.

not sure which to get. the BSE is MUCH cheaper but i have had good experience in the past with the Invisishield. And gunk tends to get in wherever there is a seam so if the Invishield is one piece that would be better (or maybe i don't want to cover the click wheel since the rubber texture sucks which would make the BSE better).

anyone have experience with both?

Yes, the Invisible Shield comes as one piece (the front and rear separately, of course).

You raise an interesting point about BSE vs IS. I've read that they use the same material anyway, and BSE is half the price, but IS markets their product better (the scratch resistance, lifetime warranty, etc) and so it's easier to sway towards IS.

no that's not true. i ordered IS and the front is in 3 pieces and 1 piece for the rear.

Well my front is a single piece, and the website still shows this to be the case. Unless they've changed it, I think you'll find this is the case. :p

they must have changed it to be the same as the BSE version b/c now the front is 1 large piece, another piece for the wheel, and a third piece for the center button.

Sorry, I misunderstood you. The clickwheel and centre button are indeed separate pieces.
