I am not sure. but we have to wait for next macworld 2008. developers will bring some surprise along with iphone, ipod touch. it has internet capability. so it's possible to stream radio just like itunes. only thing we need is small app (widget on ipod touch).
anyway you can check many sites. why don't you access those sites to see things work? (of course, access by your ipod touch through safari).

There's currently a program called iRadio that allows you to listen to Internet radio (but only stations in it's directory). Right now it's kind of buggy, but getting better...
Of course, you need to be jailbreaked to install iRadio...

I mean that it will be better without hacking. because even hacking is relatively easier nowadays. but some people don't. just makes it easier to use more useful apps. so I expect that macworld 2008 will bring something new for us.

for me it's not worth buying a touch now when the supposed upgrades it's gonna get in February are so big.

The advent of the SDK that will allow development of native apps for the iPod Touch will be able to be taken advantage of in on current iPod Touches as most of the talked about "upgrades" are all software related. There likely won't be any real striking hardware changes to the iPod Touch in February, though I suppose a capacity increase wouldn't necessarily be unexpected.
