USB thumb drives have come down in price so much and they keep getting bigger everyday, making them an attractive option to add more memory to your ipod or iphone just like people used to add bigger compact flash cards to pda's

my question is has anyone figured out how to access a USB flash drive from an iPod? I figure there must be a way...

Don't you think that'd be kind of ugly with a thumb drive dangling off of your iPod?
