I love my Touch but it's gets old having to unlock it just to adjust the volume or change tracks all the time.
Does the iPod Radio Remote work with it? Please respond from experience please.
Thanks. :D

No experience (sorry), but you do realize you don't have to unlock it to change tracks or volume, right? Just double-click (sometimes triple-click) the home button, and you get pop-up controls - even if your iPod Touch is still locked.

I have the radio remote and can tell you that it does not work. Oddly enough the Touch will infom you that it is not an authorized device. I think it just isn't supported. I have my fingers crossed that Apple will support it in a firmware upgrade. To me the remote makes even more sense on the touch since it obviosly lacks tactile controls. This is a big deal for those of us in work situations where we can't be bothered with taking it out of our pockets, especially if our hands are dirty.

Thanks, but the point I was trying to make is you have to pull it out of your pocket to do all that.

Thanks P. Funny how I see many advertise remotes that works with the Touch on eBay. I don't trust them at all.
Good job on Apple to squeeze every dime we have. If I could, I would slap Jobs for intentionally not making it backwards compatible with any of the old accessories. But they make almost flawless products & that's why I got the touch. lol

Understand - was just trying to point out you don't have to unlock it. Many people miss this...
