I am in the process of buying an iTouch (16g) but have come across two model numbers. They are: MA 627C/A and MA 627LL/A. Does anyone know the difference - if any?

It appears (according to our friend, Google) that the MA627C/A is the Canadian version/model number. I don't know if there are any differences in features - probably just the certifications required (CE Mark, UL, etc.)

I am using a touch right now that I got yesterday in NY. It has model number of A1213 etched on the back. It came with firmware 1.1.2 preinstalled as well just so you know. Don't know if this helps or not but just thought I'd add my 2 cents...

If you look on the back of your iPod Touch box, it will show the MA# - it doesn't show it on the iPod Touch itself. Modelwise, mine is a A1213 also...
