Okay, so I just purchased and downloaded a Comedy Central show on Dane Cook and a National Geographic podcast on MT. Everest. It downloaded, but when iTunes tried syncing it, an error message popped up saying that the content could not be played on my iPod [touch] because the format is not supported.....something very similar along those lines. But this came directly from iTunes, so why would my iPod not be able to support those formats?

If you give me the exact name of one, I will try to download it and see what happens.

I was reading a message within iTunes a few days ago stating that just because the video is available on itunes doesn't mean it's formatted to play on every iPod.

Name:"Dane Cook"
Artist: "Best of Comedy Central Stand Up"
...it's under TV shows. That's the exact name. (length: 21:01, fyi)

In response to what hexonxonx said, then iTunes should list what ipod each video is compatible with. That way, we could avoid problems like this.

Go to your store account in iTunes and report the problem. They will gladly give you a refund in a few days. Just go to your recent purchases and you will see what to do.

Give me the name of the free one, Nat geo., I don't want to pay for one that might not work.
