New iPod Touch!!

I am planning to purchase the iPod touch, but i have got a few questions before buying.

I would appericate if you would anwser the fallowing,

1. I have the media player Rhapsody adn the files are RAX, do you know of any good converters to WMA or MP4??
2. Is THe iPod touch compatible with and iHome speaker system??
3. I am thinking about jailbreaking, how can u restore the device??
4. Can you still restorethe asystem even if it bricks back to another firmware so the device is fuctional??
5. I dont like the cases, does anyone have experiance with iPod socks just for when storing in bedroom??

1. From what I've read, RAX files are protected media. You may be able to burn them to CD and then rip them back into MP3 (unprotected) format.

2. Search is your friend. See here - http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=206995&highlight=ihome

3. Yup - it's very easy to restore the device from a jailbreak. Takes less than 15-20 minutes. All you do is go into iTunes and hit the Restore button and you're set.

4. Yup - the iPod Touch has yet to be truly bricked. All you need to do is force restore and you're back to the factory default firmware as if nothing happened.

5. Sorry - haven't used the socks. I've used the Invisible Shield, and it's great - doesn't take away from the looks at all and protects it from scratches really well...
