I have been using ipodrip to rip my ipod to the pc but since buying an ipod touch, the software doesn't recognise the device.
Can someone suggest a software to rip my ipod touch onto my Windows PC ?
Free would be nice.

I think you didn't read the original post - the OP wants to know how to pull his music/video off his iPod Touch - not how to rip video to his iPod.
Problem is, the new iPod Touch & iPhone don't support mounting as drives like previous iPods (probably due to the differences in the operating systems for them). I haven't seen anything free, but I have seen people pointing to iPhone Drive and I believe there's a demo - http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iphonedrive/
