Music navagation buttons not working

when I'm not on the now playing screen and I double click the home button and the music controls come up they are not working. I can adjust the volume but i cannot pause or skip to the next track. The buttons light up when i tap them but nothing happens. I'm running 1.1.1

That happened to me. I don't have any ideas nor do I remember what I did when it happened. That's with 1.1.2, with wi-fi on.
