I was wondering if there were any "side effects" of removing the invisible shield. MY main concerns were possible residue or stickiness. Any chance someone has some experience with removing them? Any responses would be VERY much appreciated.

I removed one off of my 1st generation nano that I needed to get replaced a couple years ago. It did leave a lot of residue on it but I used De Solve It and it took all of the residue off. The iPod smelled like oranges however afterward. I didn't really care though because it was defective and I went to the Apple store and they replaced it. I have read that if you need to remove it though that you should use a heat source like a hair dryer and it will come off without any residue left behind.
You may also want to contact Shield Zone if you do have any questions about removal tips or techniques.

okay, well, I've decided against a skin, due to the residue. I've decided on the reflect, as it not only gets great reviews, but it looks amazing, especially the way it has that magically appearing screen. (If you've seen it you'll know what I mean...)
