Hello,
Sorry for not searching for this first but it seemed like such an obscure topic that i couldn't think of what to search for.
The problem is this:
My iPod doesn't play certain songs. It just skips past them. I've tried deleting and re-uploading them to no avail. I've even tried different programs (iTunes and ephPod). I've also tried renaming files, changing their tags etc... But still with no luck. It's not a bitrate problem. Since most other songs work fine at the exact same bitrate. These are mostly songs that have been recently added to the iPod. But no amount of deleting and re-uploading has worked. It's really annoying to be honest.
The files are deffinately on the iPod since explorer can find them, and Winamp can play them with no problems.
My other question is which file do i delete to keep my songs on the iPod but off my PC? I've got the obligatory iTunes folder, but it only contains two files and an empty folder. The files are "iTunes Music Library.xml" and "iTunes 4 Music Library.itl". Do i need to consolidate my library first or something?
Incidentally i'm using the USB 2.0 adapter, with a 40gb 3G iPod. Running it all on a Windows XP system.
