Does anyone know how to make it so that the numbering of the photos (filename numbering) is constant, and does not fill in "missing" numbers.
Everytime I transfer photos from my Iphone to my windows directory, then I delete the photos from my iphone. Let's say those were photos IMG_001.jpg - IMG_020.jpg...
the thing is, since i deleted them off of my iphone, the iphone, with the next photo, use IMG_001.jpg again, and not IMG_021.jpg! so taking the next 20 photos, and then transfering them into my computer folder, it will end up overwriting the older photos!
With all regular digital cameras, and even my blackberry pearl i had before, the numbering does not reset and just continues from where it left off.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
