I am VERY impressed with this case for my Touch, gives it great protection but is small and very well made.

All I wanna know is which cases can keep the screen intact after a fall... anyone with the silicone Marware Sport Grip drop their iPod with it on? Did it keep everything intact and working? Does another case work better to prevent damage? My 30GB survived several nasty falls onto a hard floor without a scratch...

I am using a $5 silicon cover from eBay. I then place that in a Timbuk2 accessory case($20). Everything fits perfectly and is well padded. I have no plans to see how everything would survive a fall, but I suspect the Touch would live to see another day :D

I just received Reflect and like it alot, especially rubber like back. And like redbike, I use it with Timbuk2 accessory case to carry. Now perfect with my Timbuk2 messenger bag :)

I haven't found a case yet.
What I'm looking for:
-Open face (access to the face), not a sleeve
-a button/knob type belt clip IN THE CENTER of the ipod so it can be mounted horizontally or vertically (I am putting it in my car)
-don't have a preference between hard shell or soft
I have yet to see a case like the above. The Marware SportSuit Convertible might fit the bill, but there is no picture of the back of it (I emailed Marware yesterday to find out where the clip is mounted). Anyone have that case?

What's slimmer, the iclear or the reflect?
Also, do I have to buy a screen protector seperately?

I just purchased the DLO HipCase (replacing the DLO JamJacket) and I love it. I had a similar case with my 5.5G 80Gig model. I needed a case that I can easily slide the touch in and out because I use Griffin's RoadTrip in my car. No cases can be used with that device. The HipCase allows easy access and plus protection when I need it.

The iSkin Case for the Touch may also fit your bill but it has not been released yet. I hope the Touch case will be based on their iSkin Revo for the iPhone, to which you can add the iSkin Revo clip for wearing on your belt.
It's been frustrating waiting and searching for the right case. I am also considering the Proporta alu-leather case because of the aluminum sheath protection - but it would cover the screen. I use Proporta for my PDA and it is a top quality product.

So both the DLO clear hardshell cases (Hybridshell & videoshell) scored higher or on par with the iClear on iLounge's reviews. What are people's thoughts on that?
I have an iClear on backorder but i may ditch it for the DLO models if they are really better. Are the DLO cases considered "impact-resistant hard shells" like the Griffin case, whatever that means?

I think DLO's cases are much better. Every button is covered, and it looks way better though. I ordered an iClear too, and same as you, I may be ditching iClear for HybridShell.

I'm getting a Touch for xmas and already bought the iClear case for it. Just wondering how good is the included screen protector and is it hard to get the bubbles out?

Anyone try one from vajacases.com ? They are pricey but they look sweet!

I had a DLO Videoshell for about a day. Hated the kickstand, hated the sleep/wake button protection (too hard to use), returned it and got an iClear. Love the frosted back and the thickness is just right. Feels really great in the hand and looks fantastic on the device.

The screen protector gets finger smudges easily. I might ditch that SP & get the BSE. The only bubbles I have getting rid of is the corners. Can't seem to do it.
