ipod nano 3rg 8GB dead, why ???

hi,

i ve been using my ipod for a couple of weeks so far with no problems at all. i charged it yesterday so it should last for a couple of days, obviously, depending onusage. but any way i took it out of my pocket and it was daed. i am not able to turn it back on, main charge or usb charge. when i plug it into my laptop it is detected but it does not appear to be in itunes. i am windows user.

coudl you tell me what can i do in order to solve this problem ?

maybe there is a way to manually reset the ipod ?
please help me !

You can reset it by holding down the menu and select button.

Sometimes restarting iTunes and/or restarting your computer on top of restarting the iPod can help too.
