I don't know where to get the official bug report/fixes list on the Apple website, but after I installed the new iTunes 7.5, it said something about a new iPod game called "Phase".
...iTunes 7.5 also brings the iPod nano, iPod classic, and 5G iPod support for Phase, "a new interactive music game" designed for the gadgets...
So, does anybody know what it is yet? I tried checking the 'iPod Games' section inside the iTunes Music Store, but it doesn't show anything new.
But, if I 'search' for the game inside the store, it will show up as a result which provides a link to the 'Games' section. If you try clicking on it, a message will pop up saying something along the lines of "This item is not available in the U.S. store".
Maybe it'll be on tomorrow? Or soon? Would like to see what this is about, lol.. yes, I'm bored too.

I don't get it - why does iTunes need an update to support a game for the iPod? Does this game work on the PC as well? (ie - does it play on both the pc and the iPod?) Thanks!

The game uses music pulled from a special playlist in your iTunes created just for this game. You can add any music you wish and this music is used as the soundtrack during your playing of the game.

I see - but to clarify - this game definately isn't playable via the PC - correct?

Wow, apparently this game was developed by Harmonix (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3164191) the creators of Guitar Hero...

I bought the game but it won't sync the playlist. I put songs in the 'phase playlist', confirmed that they are in there, and then sync my nano. It syncs, then I try to play and it tells me "if you want to play your own songs you need to add songs to the phas playlist and re sync your ipod". The playlist shows in my list with all the other playlists but the game doesn't see it. Anyone have this bug?

I had a problem with my initial sync as well.
It finally took me taking the game off the iPod and throwing it back on to get it to register that the playlist was there.
Make sure you wait for the iTunes to analyze the playlist before you sync your iPod. It takes some time per song.

Here's a problem I'm having with mine. I have mine set to manually sync and copied songs onto the Phase playlist from within iTunes (on the iPod).
Each time I bring up Phase, it says there are no songs. When I launch iTunes, it shows 83 and it went through the analysis of each song.
EDIT: Looks like I got it. I just right clicked on it and hit Sync. The songs had to also be in my iTunes Phase playlist or it wouldn't work. Also, lossless files and apparently VBR MP3's need to be encoded or it won't play (it even tells you as much). You also have to drag the Phase playlist from iTunes on top of the one on your iPod's Phase playlist. That's how I got mine to work.
