Its strange how BestBuy.com lists a bunch of DLO cases which aren't even on the DLO website... I might get this one (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8586764&type=product&id=1190677232330) if iSkin doesn't release a case soon.

I Had a DLO clear crystal case for my 5G U2, and it scratched the **** out of it and gave me this ring around the clickwheel. I'd get a softer case.

its probably too late but for the other ppl who might see this. dn buy the videoshell. ive had mine for less than a mnth, it has tons of scratches n trapped dust. ive yet to b able to remove it coz i dn wna risk breakin it wif brute force. also the film packaged wif the case is a fingerprint magnet. im considerin gettin an invisible shield now. :(

I had the Video Shell over my Touch with an Invisible Shield. I can't say whether this caused the problem but I could not get the Video Shell off easily. The hinges almost cracked since I had to use a lot of force to remove it. There are gouges on the Invisible Shield where the hinges are on the Video Shell. Glad the Invisible Shield took the brunt of it and not the Touch.
Anyway, I'm waiting for a leather case for the Touch and will toss the Video Shell.

I bought one after reading the review on iLounge. It arrived with a hariline crack around the start button and despite my best efforts, I couldn't get the bubbles out of the transparent screen film. Also, one of the sticky labels on the film left a sticky residue when I tried to remove it. I threw it away. The case itself is pretty slippery to hold and lets in dirt and dust particles which get trapped underneath which looks terrible. The biggest pain by far though, is that the thing is almost impossible to remove without breaking it. I've given up trying to get it off so I'll just wait until I get a better case and then hope I can get it off without damaging my iPod.

I have also had the problems mentioned with my DLO Videoshell. I have two little black specks under the film, but thankfully no bubbles. The dust that gets trapped is atrocious, but a little canned air cleans it out. I also had a crack on the home button and now another one has formed to the side of the button. By far my biggest complaint is the difficulty with getting it off. I can get the top hooks open, but the bottom ones will not budge. I know the force it will take to unhook them will break the case. I only paid $20 for it, but I've had it less than a month and don't feel like breaking it already.

I can't argue that the DLO videoshell isn't a tough case but overall I'm disappointed.
It makes my nice thin 16gb Touch as thick as an iPhone but not as slick
Like other people's it has stress cracks around the menu button and light sensor hole
The cover over the sleep button is useless. Impossible to operate the switch and actually held the switch down until the battery had discharged. I eventually just broke it off.
The stand is a nice feature if you have a surface to rest it on but probably adds to the thickness.
It may fit in a recent universal dock but it doesn't fit in my old iMotion speaker dock
Well done dlo for including a film cover. I got the bubbles out on my third attempt.
I carry it, with headphones, in a separate soft case clipped to my belt as I don't want to expose it too much and it needs full access to pause or change tracks. On reflection I probably didn't need a hard case at all but I've paid for it now..............

I've Googled for info on this case, and one thing I've read from several people is that the folding stand in the back of the case scratches the metal back of the iPod. So if you don't plan to keep the iPod until the end of its life ....

NOTE: THIS COMMENT IS FOR THE VIDEOSHELL FOR 2G TOUCH ONLY. Sorry about that, I just noticed that this is an old thread.
I've found removal to be very easy, once I figured out the trick. STANDARD DISCLAIMER: use this process at your own risk. It works for me, but I make no guarantees.
Anyway, find the opening in the left side of the case that provides access to the volume controls. Note the air gap between the bottom of the case and back of the Touch. Insert a small flat-head screwdriver GENTLY into the gap, and then GENTLY pry the back of the case. It requires very little force, and the case will pop open easily.
By doing this carefully, I have now opened my case a few times without any apparent damage to either the case or the pod. Being able to easily remove the case makes me a little less worried about junk getting trapped in there, since I can clean it out as needed.
I did manage to get the screen protector on almost perfectly. There are two very small bubbles right at the top and bottom edge, but the part that covers the touchscreen itself is perfect. I'm satisfied with my success there. My biggest mistake was that the home button hole was not quite lined up perfectly. Not a big deal.
Overall, it looks like the case will do fine for me, at least for now. If/when I replace it, I image it will be with a silicone case of some kind.
