It occured to me that trying to jump to the next song in a playlist would be problematic with the Touch since it doesnt have the advantage of the click wheel and was wondering if the radio/remote for the ipod would work with the Touch. Anbody know?

just double click the home button

I have found my Home button very touchy about the double click. Too fast or too slow and it simply wakes the Touch up. I have to be very precise and time it just right.

If double clicking the home button moves forward, how do you jump back?

it doesnt move you forward but it brings up the music controls no matter what app youre in even if it's locked. Try it.

This is why I think the older Ipod design has a big advantage. You have to look at the Touch in order to move back & forth between songs whereas on the click wheel, you just push the appropriate side. Its a big advantage when you are working out or simply can't look away from what you are doing. That's why I was wondering if the remote worked with the Touch.
