Not syncing

My Itouch will charge when plugged in but it will not sync. How do I fix this. I already tried to reinstall itunes and it did not work. HELP!!!!!!!

on my laptop, yes, and that is where it will charge. on my desktop, no and it will not charge either.

Will it sync to your laptop then?

On your desktop are you using a USB hub, a USB connector on your computer or on your computer. Make sure the USB connector is a 2.0 and not a 1.1 for some reason.

Try to use a USB connector directly on the computer.

Try restarting iTunes with the iPod connected.
Try restarting your computer with the iPod still connected.

What USB port are you using on your desktop? Keyboard ports usually are unpowered - usually you need to plug into the back of your computer or a powered hub. And make sure its USB 2.0.
