Can i change my name in games?

Can anyone tell me how to change my name for the leaderboards in the games, my mate put his name in and ive looked everywhere to change it and cant find a way and was wondering if anyone knows.

You will probably need to play the game first and if your score is high enough then the board will appear for you to add the name of the player.
