The new 2008 Ipod/Iphone buyers guide came out and has a download to accommodate an
Ipod Touch. How do I view it on my Touch after I download it to my computer?

Instead of downloading it to your computer, you download it to your touch. Using wifi on your Touch, go to the internet and get to the ilounge site. Click "view the 2008 guide on your touch" and it will very shortly open on your touch.

Actually I don't think you download it but rather read it online. You'd be reading it in Safari.

I was thinking the same thing. Why "download"? I was trying to figure out if there is a way to put it via iTune but I don't think it is possible. The guide has been a great way to "kill time" when there is no internet access such as on plane....

Could always try to jailbreak and then sftp the file over. Dont know if you just use the MobileFinder to get to it and view it in Safari. Haven't tried.

Actually if you jailbreak and have Mail installed you can mail it to yourself. I was able to send the PDF to my Gmail account which I've got setup with IMAP. Sync'd my mail, downloaded the attachment, and I'm still able to access it if I turn off my wi-fi.

Yes, if you have mail installed you can store it for offline viewing. This is possible on the iPhone and if you jailbreak and install mail on the Touch, it will be possible there, too.
