View Full Version : TV shows automatically not syncing to my ipod touch??

Hi guys!
I recently purchased an iPod Touch and so far everything is going great with the jailbreaking and all.. :D
Today, I purchased an episode of South Park from iTunes Store and after being downloaded, I thought that it would automatically sync to my iPod, but it's not. I tried ways to manually sync the video itself, but it's not working.. :(
Did anybody experience the same problem with the TV shows??
Any info on how to sync TV shows into your iPod?
Much help would be appreciated~~ thanks in advance!

I haven't had any problems like this. I simply go into the section for my iPod Touch in iTunes, select TV Shows choose the TV shows to sync or choose all tv shows and make sure that the top selection box says "all tv shows" or "all unwatched tv shows" if this is unwatched.

I had noticed that iTunes is offering HD versions of shows for the Apple TV. Those will not work with the iPod. You can always try right-clicking on the video in your library and choose "convert for iPod", then drag into your iPod.

You'd think there would be an error or something on this.
You won't be able to convert a purchased iTunes Store track likely, though.
Make sure the SHow plays in iTunes, it may think it's not authorized.
If you continue to have problems and your sync settings include the new show, you might want to contact iTunes store customer service.

I just checked out South Park in iTunes. There is only one version available. What studogvetmed will most likely do the trick. I can't believe I didn't think of that as well. I just assumed (and we all know where that leads). Thanks.

Yuuup I found it guys :) Looks like I have to manually go into my iPod on the left list and check the auto sinc for the TV shows tab. Thanks a lot!!!
