I've received my IPhone and 1 1/2 weeks later i went to the October fest on the military base and i had some good german beer. (remided me back at home guys) well,.. i made many pictures and since i didn't had a case yet i had my IPhone in a black sock in my pants pockets.
well,... the iphone slipped out my hadn when i was sitting on the table and i caught it with my leg and feet. so everything was ok,... but after time i had a few more beers and we left (me not driving of course),... I wanted to make another Picture of the tent from outside... well,... somehow the IPhone dropped on the hard ground. I remember that a lady appologized. She must have bumbed in me and the Iphone dropped to the ground.
I remember that inside of me i was hoping that nothing happend to the device, and i picked it up and i did not wanted to loock at it cause i was affraid for the worse. at home the next day i looked at it and i saw that i have several very deep impacts on one side top to bottom.
Thsi happen 2/3 weeks ago. I called The Apple Service and since i had it in repair 1 week before the lady (who was really really friendly and professional) talked to me and asked me how long i had the iphone and if i think some sratches caem from the repair.
I actl. called to see how much it will cost to replace the black and silver backcover and she said this will cost $249,... i was wwwwooooow shocked.. so we talked and she asked me things
I said that i have some scrathces caused by myself and i can't tell if there are any new ones. I don't want to accuse anyone, u know... she had me on hold for a while and the system was very slow she said, she had to check with someone .. and after 59 minutes she said since i was so honest with her and that based on a customer satisfaction basis apple will fix the damaged case.
I was shocked !!!! even the temp. Service IPhone charge would be dropped. I should asked her for her number and take her out but i was so happy. !!!
I just wanted to tell you guys this story and give a very big applause to the Apple Care Service.
