Touch and iPhoto

Hi all,
Currently looking how to deal with the iphoto synchronization within itunes, it import correctly all my pictures, but all are in the same directory, and not under the category like in the iphoto software. Does anybody know how to make it possible ? Thanks

What do you mean by category in iPhoto? Events, Folders and keywords aren't recognized on the Touch, only albums.

ah ok ... so if I have thousand of pictures, they will all appears like that, no folders sorted ... weird. Ok I know that it is not a pda but ... maybe a later firmware update will do so ???

So how DO you have your pictures sorted in iPhoto?

Folders in iPhoto were really meant to be a way to organize albums, not photos. So you organize your photos into albums, then if need be, organize your albums into folders. The folder hierarchy won't sync to the ipods but the albums will.

Now, with the inclusion of events, Apple should provide a way to sync those over if the user chooses to. We'll see if that happens. I personally don't use them.

Anyway, that's how iPhoto works so if you want to sync with iPhoto, you should probably make use of its organizational structure.
