SwitchEasy Biscuit's "clear static nano back protector"

I notice that Switcheasy gives a clear static nano back protector with the package. However, from some online pictures, the protector looks very thick and like a piece of plactic. Can anyone tell me hows the back protector? and does it hurt the original back? if possible, please post some picture.
