hey every1 im new here and have had my 16 gig touch for about a week now and love it. the only thing is that i have a weird sleep/on off button (the little button on the top). usually it is very responsive when i touch it.. almost too sensitive as i do not even have to press it all the way down for it to turn on/ sleep and it almost always turns on by itself in my pocket... i dont know if that is normal. other times though it will take a couple of presses to sleep and sometimes do it by itself.. without me even pressing it. also the slide to turn off thing comes up by itself or instead of the sleep mode. any1 else have this problem? i had it jailbroken but now have taken it off with restore but still experience these problems.
also.. i almost forgot... sometimes after i turn my touch off, the screen turns back on immediately and the apple logo shows up like its going to turn back on then all of a sudden the screen cuts off n the logo shows up again.. this keeps happening until i press the power button again.
do you think its a defective ipod or just a firmware problem.. i bought my touch off of ebay but purchased a square trade warranty.. but i dont know if that covers a problem like this
