Question to owners: Accessing MP3s

Just a quick question to iPod touch owners, what happens when you try to access an MP3 file using Safari? Does the file play? Do you get full control? I'm working on a little streaming app for when I get my touch (T minus one week!) and for others, and want to know how it should work.
