Wow! You can't say ####ens around here without getting wacked by the censor. Guess it's not polite to read him around the lounge. ;)

That's quite a list! Hey CR, I notice that you've read Master and Commander by Patrick O'Brian, and it seems like you've read HMS Surprise as well. Did you skip Post Captain? (the novel in between)

This Aubrey/Maturin series has been my introduction to Audio Books, and I'm an absolute addict after just a month.

H.M.S. Surprise by Patrick O'Brian is in my "not yet ranked" list because I haven't read it yet. H.M.S. Surprise was the first of the unabridged books in the series released by Audible. Just after I bought it they released Master and Commander which I bought and read. Post Captain has since been released so it's now on my wish list. I will buy that this month and listen to it before I get around to H.M.S. Surprise.

I do try to read series in order, and I did that with the Bernard Cornwell books

Cool, I think you'll enjoy the rest of the series a lot. I've got the "Sharpe's" books by Cornwell on my to-read list, and I plan on using your post for more recommendations. Thanks.
