To start out, I've had my fair share of iPods. Starting with an iPod mini, then 1st gen video, 2nd gen video, Classic and now Touch, I've also owned many different cases. I've owned leather cases, silicone skins, invisible shields, and neoprene, but none of the cases I've ever had compare to my newest (the Marware Sport Grip for iPod Touch). In fact, on account of my experience with this case, I'm considering ordering a Sport Grip for my classic.

Not only is the case absolutely excellent, but the included screen protector is fabulous! No, it doesn't look the greatest around the outer edges of the screen, but once you put your iPod in the case, you can't see those edges anyway. The screen of my touch looks better with the protector on than without it! In fact, those who don't know any better wouldn't even know that there's a protector on it. The protector doesn't impede any functions of the screen, I enjoy using my touch more with it on.

The skin also includes a protector for the back of the iPod, but I have the BestSkinsEver on the back. This is the must-have combo for any iPod user.

The backside of the case slowly thickens as you get closer to the middle, making the touch infinitely more ergonomic. The case covers everything except for the dock connector, headphone jack, light sensor and (obviously) the screen. The sleep button still works perfectly with the case covering it (I can now press it without worrying about scratching the mirror-finish metal surrounding it).

My only complaint is that the silicone on the top and bottom edges of the screen (if you're holding the touch with the home button on bottom) isn't quite flush with iPod, meaning it balloons up ~1mm in the middle. Other than, I have nothing to say but praise.

I ordered Saturday, 10/20 after business hours were over, the package shipped out UPS Ground on Monday, 10/22 and the case was at my door 12 hours later on Tuesday, 10/23. Granted, Marware is located a little over 200 driving miles from me, but that's still an astonishingly short shipping time.

Overall, I'm very pleased.

This does look pretty cool, but does anyone have any pictures of the black one?

For $15, I may well just get one of these.

Just got mine, and it's worth every penny.

Very ergonomic and you can't even see the screen cover.

How do you like the feel of the protector versus pure screen? Which color did you purchase?

few questions for u gravy drive, is this the type of material that attracts lint every time you put it in you pocket? does it feel relatively snug on the touch? is dust something that can easily get in? and lastly does it slide in and out of your pocket easy or does it get caught up on your pants material? just some small things i would like to know, thanks

Got the case, it's ok (beats carrying it around in the box) -- using it until iSkin gets theirs on the market. I think it fits too loosely around the screen (albeit the screen is practically the length of the iPod so not much room for support). I don't think it attracts too much lint (cat hair, yes), but I don't put it in my pocket. I like the screen protector -- has a very light layer of sticky stuff, very easy to take off and re-align (trust me) and I never got that "aaagh what's it doing to my screen?" feeling.

By looks alone, I can't even tell that the screen protector is there. By feel, there is little to no difference. But I feel better knowing that it's there.

I purchased the black one.

It's not the "incredibly sticky" type of silicone that was used in early cases (I had one for my iPod mini). I don't keep it in my pocket much, so I can't speak from that aspect, but it doesn't attract much link on my couch, table, desk, etc. It may be more noticeably with a black case, though. It slides in and out of my jeans just fine; a little resistance, but what can you expect from rubber on fabric? Yes, it feels snug, save in the two parts that I mentioned earlier (also depicted in the photo).
