Anyone with any tips for cleaning the control surfaces, like the scroll wheel? Mine gets filthy from handling the newspaper on the subway, then futzing with the 'Pod. I'm afraid to use anything abrasive, but moist cloth, and even a bit of soap or isopropyl don't do the job.
Anyone with any tips?
Thanks!

I've been using a cleaning cloth that I bought at Whole Foods Store--they're made in Italy by a company named Casabella. You don't even wet the cloth. It's almost like a chamois. (It's great for mirrors and windows too!) The cloth has removed newspaper print stains from my refrigerator doorhandle. OK, I know this isn't "helpful hints for the kitchen message board" so I'll stop here.:)

I got a cloth that came with a mini handheld steam cleaner thingy, and this cloth performs miracles... It cleans my iPod and my iBook really well. Probably a similar cloth to ipodmom's.
I'm suprised isopropyl didn't work, I've used that to remove newspaper print off my fingers before.

I've used alcohol on a small cotten ball to clean the touchpad on my ipod, works well for me.
