Sudden reboots suck

Hi, I've got a problem with my ipod and i can't find a solution. I've got the 20gb 3g version. Sometimes the ipod reboots without any reason. This really sucks because when i load a playlist and put the ipod into my pocket the playlist is not loaded anymore after the reboot and i have to take the ipod out of my pocket to select the playlist again which is not very good because i don't want everybody to see that i've got an ipod with me and anyway it sucks to take it out every 10 minutes. Does anybody know what i can do to fix that?

I've encountered similar problem where iPod all-of-sudden would turn itself off even when the battery meter shows over half full. This occur several times when I first got my iPod. Recently I updated it to firmware 2.1. So far it hasn't turn itself off yet.
